Having lived on Mt. Diablo Scenic for 32 years, I was so ashamed and shocked that this "blockade" even occurred. Can't thank you enough to David and all his supporters--maybe we need to erect a monument to David Hammond for all he has done? But right now, the monument is the opening of the gate! And the safety of all the bicyclists and walkers who are so grateful.

Congratulations. I'm so sorry my neighbors put us all in danger. My family has been in Diablo since 1960. I'm ashamed that a handful of residents put so many people in danger. We can all ride and walk safely now. Thank you!!
